Our Sales staff is committed to helping you make your dream wedding a reality. Here are some details on how we work, but please feel free to contact us with any questions, to schedule a tour, or for a quote. Congratulations and happy planning!

What items does Felicita Resort provide for the wedding?

Felicita Resort provides the following: food, beverage, ceremony chairs, tables and chairs for the reception, servers, bartenders, linens, dishware, glassware, flatware, tables for vendors.

May we bring our own food or alcohol?

No; all food and beverage is provided by Felicita Resort. The only exception to this rule is the wedding cake, cookies and/or cupcakes.

If you plan on taking the top layer of your cake home with you, please ask your cake vendor to bring a “cake topper” box with them when they drop off at Felicita Resort.

If you require Felicita Staff to store, plate and display your cookies or cupcakes, there will be an additional $2.50 charge per person.

What is not included in the packages?
 

There are basically six items not included in our wedding packages: officiant, florist, photographer, musicians, decorations (favors, name cards, table numbers) and cake.

Are there any hidden fees?

Felicita wedding packages are all inclusive, covering all rentals, tax and gratuity..​

How much is the deposit required to hold a wedding date?

$1,800

How soon do I have to pay for everything?

Aside from the deposit, the remainder of your wedding balance in broken up into three payments to be paid equally in the months proceeding the event.​

 

Does Felicita provide a wedding coordinator?

No; your sales associate will collect all of your details, but will not attend your rehearsal or your wedding. It is up to you, someone from your wedding party, or your officiant to coordinate your rehearsal and wedding day. However, please make sure you schedule your rehearsal time with your sales associate.


Who will be my Felicita contact on the day of my wedding?

After collecting your details, the sales associate turns everything over to our highly trained banquet staff, who then executes the events of the day. You will be provided with the banquet manager’s name and cell phone number that will be on site the day of your event.

When are my details due?

Your details are due one month before your wedding date. At that time you will schedule an appointment with your sales associate to review all of those details. Everything must be finalized two weeks prior to your event.

Are we limited to what is in each package?

No; you may upgrade any of the wedding packages.

May we taste the food before deciding our menu?

Absolutely; we include a tasting with our Executive Chef as part of the package.  You must also schedule this appointment with your sales associate.

Are we able to customize our menu?

Yes; the Executive Chef can customize a menu to fit any needs.

Do we have to purchase a minimum bar package?

No; bar options are located at the end of the wedding packages. Max bar time allowed is five hours.

Do we have to choose a certain type of bar?

No; we can customize the bar to fit your needs. Example: open beer/wine and cash liquor bar.

On the day of the wedding, does Felicita Resort put up any signs?

The sign that is first seen on Fishing Creek Valley Rd (coming from the 322 direction) will be turned to display “wedding”. However, if people are coming from the opposite direction or if you are having a Secret Garden wedding, this will not be seen. Felicita does not post any additional signs. Therefore, we highly recommend you have someone from your wedding party post a few balloons at the sign markers on the day of your wedding.

May we take pictures in the Gardens on the day of?

Yes; pre or post ceremony pictures may be taken in the Gardens for those purchasing a ceremony and reception package. Times must be scheduled with your sales associate when submitting your itinerary. For those purchasing a reception only package, an additional $500 fee will be incurred if you would like to take pictures in the Italian Gardens.

After the wedding ceremony, are we able to spend time in the Gardens?

We actually encourage spending time in the Gardens after the ceremony before having your guests go to the cocktail hour. This allows time to enjoy the Gardens and to take post ceremony pictures.


 

Is it possible to have the reception in the Gardens as well?

Yes.  Additional fees will incur.

How late can the reception last?

You reserve the space until midnight with no extra charge. After midnight, a $400 fee per hour will be incurred.

May we decorate the ceremony and reception sites?

Yes; we will do our best to have everything set the day before your wedding pending that there are no other events scheduled at that time. You and your vendors may come in the day before or the morning of to decorate, add centerpieces, set up name cards, favors, etc. A $200 setup fee will be incurred if changes are made to the finalized diagram within 72 hours of the event.

If you would like Felicita staff to set your name cards, favors and table numbers, you may request so for starting at an additional $1.00 per guest attending the wedding (depending on guest count and complexity). A two-week advance notice, details and diagrams must be provided for Felicita to provide this service.


Are there any restrictions to how we can decorate?

No small glitter may be used and you may not puncture any holes in the walls. Also, if throwing flower petals in the Gardens, only REAL flower petals may be used.

Do we have to use Felicita’s linens, chairs, etc?

No; you are more than welcome to rent your own items at your own expense. Again, we have a list of vendors we can put you in contact with. We will need to know arrival and pick up times.

Do you allow burning of candles?

Yes; however there will be a fee incurred for any burnt or ruined linens. All candles must be in containers that will contain all the wax. If the Banquet Manager sees that wax will not be contained, he is authorized to stop the burning of that candle.

May we have a rehearsal?

Yes; we suggest reserving the gardens for your rehearsal one month prior to your wedding date. Please note; a Felicita representative will not attend your rehearsal.

Does Felicita Resort hold rehearsal dinners or post wedding breakfasts?

Yes; you are more than welcome to make a reservation at our Grille restaurant or set up a private event with your sales associate.

What is the Felicita Shuttle?

The Felicita Shuttle is an eleven passenger van included in the packages for the Italian Gardens. The shuttle (with driver) is available to drive the wedding party around the day of the wedding for pictures, ceremony, reception and at the end of the night. If you would like a revolving shuttle at the end of the night for your guests, a $50/hour fee will incur. The shuttle is also available for airport runs for an additional fee.

How do the guests travel to the Italian Gardens?

We provide transportation (with drivers) to meet your guests in the main parking lot located right on Fishing Creek Valley Road. We then transport your guests up to the Gardens for the ceremony and then back down to the reception.


How do we reserve lodge rooms?

Call the Lodge directly for all your lodging needs at (717) 599-5301 or you may speak with your sales associate. Felicita Resort is able to offer wedding discounts and wedding guest packages to those attending your event.

How do we set up golf tee times?

You may call the Golf Shop directly (717) 599-5028 to set up your tee times. The bride & groom receive a free round of golf and your guests receive the local rate. The local rate varies depending on the day and time.

 

Do we receive discounts at the Spa?

Is there a place for the wedding party to get ready?

We recommend you reserve a lodge room.
