Avoid corruption on a Maldives holiday

I regularly make calls from potential customers who are keen to visit the Maldives but worried that more than a week will drive them to distraction. As you probably know that the Maldives are predominantly unspoiled and natural islands that allow guests to experience a world that is largely untouched by commercialism, so many customers feel that after a few days of peace and relaxation, they are ready to try something else. Enter Multi Center Holiday! There are several airlines flying to both the UK and one of the surrounding destinations to the Maldives, so combining both places in one vacation saves money on the flights and has the benefit that you feel like you have been on two vacation.

Maldives and Dubai - Emirates Airlines is UAE's national airline and is quite conveniently located in Dubai, halfway between Great Britain and Maldives. All flights from Emirates Airlines stop in Dubai on the way back to the Maldives, giving us the ability to stay across the road and experience what it has to offer. Flights from Great Britain are from Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and both Gatwick and Heathrow to Dubai and take about 6 hours before connecting to Maldives, a short 4 hours away.

Dubai offers a completely different experience from the Maldives and while you can not beat the Maldives for beaches, it's a lot to offer and well worth a short stop especially when flying through the airport. Dubai is a vast, lively, high altitude beachfront resort. Its filled with hotels of all standards, restaurants, bars and an unrivaled level of customer service. The hotels have been compared to Las Vegas shine, as so many are themselves offering themselves something other than the nearby hotel and the competitor. Even more importantly, Dubai is an eclectic blend of Western and Arab culture and customs.

Maldives and Sri Lanka - Although they are close to the Maldives, Sri Lanka is a world apart from these small pristine islands. Sri Lanka is as big as Ireland and full of wildlife and beautiful landscapes with a great history.

You can choose to live on one of Sri Lanka's beaches and experience the change of culture, or combine the Maldives with a Sri Lanka safari. Wildlife is excellent here, especially in Yala National Park, praise for the tigers or perhaps conduct a classic Sri Lankan tour with Car and driver take all the highlights of this largely untouched land. It is important that you look at the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to keep up to date on the issues that have taken place in northern Sri Lanka. It is not an area that benefits from tourism, but by reading the website of the Foreign Office, you will get an updated picture. Sri Lankan Airlines operates a direct service that takes 12 hours between Heathrow and Maldives several times a week and also a daily service between Heathrow and Colombo with about 9 hours and Colombo and Maldives, another 2 hours making Sri Lanka and Maldives a very attractive combination. It is also a very effective way to extend your vacation from a 10-night vacation to a 14-night vacation, as accommodation in Sri Lanka is half the cost of accommodation in the Maldives so you can add extra days for very little money.

Maldives and Kerela - Long sandy beaches, scenic spices and tea plantations. Extensive and fascinating backwaters describe the idyllic coastal state of Kerela. Kerela is famous but out of India is therapeutic expertise in Ayurvedic treatments and most hotels have excellent spas.

Maldives and Bangkok, - Here is your chance to combine Thailand with the Maldives. Bangkok represents eastern exoticism, a lively blend of both the old and the modern. Bangkok has maintained its traditional charm among discos, bars, close to markets and heavy traffic. An exotic city with sparkling temples, culture and warmth.

The Maldives and Singapore - Sri Lanka Airlines based in Colombo halfway between these two destinations offer excellent service from Heathrow down to the Maldives and across to Singapore which gives you the chance to combine the Maldives with the Garden City. A lively blend of Malaysian, Chinese and Indian breed cultures and cuisines. Singapore offers great shopping, lots of attractions and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from.

A good tip when planning your trip is to look at a map of where the Maldives are located, it is likely that the surrounding countries will fly on and off and logistically it will be possible and if the cost is important, select the places that Aircraft must stop is always a good bet.
